Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor is an action role-playing video game set in The Lord of the Rings universe, developed by Monolith Productions and released by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. The game takes place during the gap between the events of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings saga and was released on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on September 30 2014 and on PlayStat... See moreion 3 and Xbox 360 on November 18 2014. In Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, the player plays as a ranger with wraith-like abilities by the name of Talion. The game is an open world video game and players will have the freedom to pursue side quests and roam around the world. The game allows people to create new characters and customize Talion as he starts his journey throughout Middle-earth by using a new system called the Nemesis System which remembers the player's interactions with specific types of characters they will encounter in the game and adjusts the manner in which these characters will react to the player throughout the game. Enemies will also develop as Talion interacts with them; for example, an Uruk who was thrown into a fire by Talion might want revenge on him for being burned and disfigured. The player will have the option to level up the abilities of Talion both as a ranger and as a Wraith through two distinct skill trees. Ranger abilities allow Talion to move silently through environments without attracting attention, while Wraith abilities will allow him to impose his will on enemies, and have them gather information for him, spread tales of Talion among enemies to decrease their morale, or assassinate their leaders.

100% completed, there isnt more then 25h in this game without dlcs
24 hours and 9 minutes to completely 100% the game.
I didn't put the time to 100% the game, but is probably 25h tops
the time it took to get into the game mechanics was rather long for me so it took me 40h59m to reach 100%. main story was about 25-30h.
13 hrs 55 min. 51%, Story and Sword Legends complete, half of the artifacts, not much else.
14 hrs, story 100%, 50% all others.
I've clocked 25hrs. This was with a lot of messing about at the start (not doing the story until about 5hrs in). Although I collected all the Ithildin there are a load of slave quests (about 20) left to do as well as a few relics and weapon quests left which I can't motivate myself to bother with (having enjoyed the game a lot but had enough).
Around 23 hours to complete most of the quest and the main story, there is still plenty of fun to be had playing the with the nemesis system beyond that though, could see it easily stretching into 30 or 40 hours.
57hrs 45min Platinum Trophy
20 Hours to get 100%, without DLC though, they add about 5 hours each
100% 40 hours
Took me 40 hours to complete the main story, collect 100% Ithildin and Artifacts, complete all Survivalist and Hunting Challenges, all Outcast Rescue Missions, and all bow, sword, and dagger missions. But I tend to not rush, I enjoy running around and just fighting for fun to some extent. Also worth noting, there is still much to do. Lots more higher-level runes to collect and Steam achievements that I didn't get to.
Everything with dlc 100%, 34 hrs, nice casual game, a bit overpriced at the beginning...
main story and some side quests in 12H " i could have finished it in 9 hours if i rushed the story without playing any of the side quests "
41 hours 100% /w all Achievements possible complete (DLC too)
