Lloyd's close friend, Colette Brunel, is the Chosen One, destined to save the dying world as a descendant of the Mana bloodline. At the age of 16, the weight of the world hangs on her shoulders.
Genis Sage, the village intellectual, is a talented magician with a personality to die - or kill - for. Most likely, you'll grow to love him.

Second playthrough, my first being about 9 years ago on the GameCube. This run was actually on the Steam release for the pc even though I selected GameCube for the option. The 39.5 hours includes obtaining all recipes and completing the side quest for whatever the cursed weapons are called. (I forgot already...) Should maybe also mentioned I played as Lloyd throughout the entirety of the game.
